Two Selfies, One Day

I whipped out two very different selfies in one day and posted them on all of my social media accounts. So of course, I have to share them with my blog.

I took the first one while waiting for my pizzas at Little Caesar's today. I was watching the boys today so I was picking up lunch for them (two Hawaiian pizzas on thin crust, in case you were wondering). There were other people across the room from me waiting for their food too, so I very discreetly pulled out my camera to make sure I was still looking #onpoint. The pizza wall behind me and the dramatic hairswoop were nice added bonuses. This quickly became my facebook and twitter profile pictures because a) I look hot as heck and b) the pizza behind me describes me well enough. 

I was selfied out after The Great Little Caesar's Selfie of 2015, but then the mail came and I got the BEST shirt. I ordered it off of etsy for my upcoming One Direction concert (August 29, Ford Field) but I'm pretty sure I'm gonna wear this for the rest of my life. I am the girl almighty. 

Thanks for indulging in my vanity for a little bit. There's literally no purpose to this post other than to just show off the great face I am blessed with.

An Introduction

Hiiiii, I'm Lex.

This is my third attempt at blogging. And by blogging, I mean proper decent blogging, not tumblr blogging. I've been tumblr blogging for five consecutive years, so that's never been an issue; it's the real blogging that I always seem to forget about. But third time's the charm, innit? 

I've been looking back at my old blogs and my first post always seems to be an "about me" of sorts, so I figured it was only appropriate to do that again. I'm an eighteen-year-old girl (she/her pronouns!) from Michigan. I graduated from high school only a month ago, and I'm on to supposedly bigger and better things in college. I'll be studying computer science at a university that I won't bother naming for the sake of privacy, but just know that it's a big one. I still haven't really accepted the fact that I won't be going back to the same school I've been going to for the past four years, so we'll see how things go come September.

So what do I like? One Direction. I usually try not to mention them right away in an effort to not sound like a preteen girl, but I'm past the point of caring. Discovered them freshman year and I thought I would be over them in a few months, but here I am, graduated and everything, and I still can't seem to let go of these five four nerds. But I promise I like other things! I don't watch as much TV as I used to, but my ultimates fav shows to binge watch over and over again are Gossip Girl, How I Met Your Mother, Friends, Cutthroat Kitchen, Dance Moms, and a bunch of other mind-melting material on Netflix. My music tastes are pretty #basic, so you can probably already assume that I listen to a lot of Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift, Lorde, Lana del Rey, Nicki Minaj, and all that jazz. I haven't read a proper book in a long time (thanks ao3), but just know that Harry Potter plays a very important role in my life. Always has, always will.

So now that you sorta know me and all my lame ass interests, I bid thee farewell. Hopefully the next time I see you is sometime next week, because that's when my orientation is and I plan on blogging about the experience and how I felt about it.
